Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse III for our Post
Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This position is crucial for providing
high-quality, detailed post-operative care to patients recovering
from anesthesia. The role demands a compassionate, detail-oriented
professional dedicated to patient recovery and safety. Monitor
post-anesthesia patients, assessing their condition and
administering appropriate care. Record patient’s vital signs and
make timely decisions on needed actions. Collaborate with
anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical staff to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on
post-procedure care and health maintenance. Ensure the highest
safety and care standards are met in preparing patients for
discharge. Manage and respond to potential post-operative
complications. Strong ability to assess and stabilize patients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of
anesthesia and surgical nursing practices Proficiency in using
medical software and patient management systems Medical Insurance

license in the state of practice BLS Certification Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) Certification Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse
