Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare innovation and education comprised of a top-tier hospital and a renowned medical college, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Clinical Service Line. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned RN who will be responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness, quality of care, and team management within a specific clinical service line. As a Clinical Service Line Lead, you will integrate clinical, administrative, and leadership functions to ensure excellence in patient care delivery across all service points. Manage daily operations of the specific clinical service line ensuring high standards of patient care. Develop and implement policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and organizational goals. Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff within the service line, promoting professional growth and operational efficiency. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service delivery efficiency. Monitor and manage budget, staffing, and resource allocation within the service line. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards. Analyze patient care data and implement improvement initiatives based on findings. Leadership and management capabilities Strong clinical skills in a specialized area relevant to the service line Ability to mentor and develop staff Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in healthcare management systems and electronic health records Strong problem-solving skills Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Certified in relevant specialty as needed (e.g., Critical Care, Pediatric, Oncology, etc.). BLS/ACLS certification.
