Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare services, is
seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse III for our Ortho/Spine unit.
This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality care and support to
patients undergoing orthopedic and spine treatments. Our center,
known for its integration of a premier hospital and medical
college, focuses on innovative patient care, medical education, and
leading-edge biomedical research. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will
be at the forefront of implementing nursing practices,
collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals and
contributing to our culture of continuous improvement and
excellence in the medical field. Provide high-quality nursing care
to orthopedic and spine patients, following all set protocols and
guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to
plan and evaluate patient care plans. Administer medications and
treatments accurately and safely, monitor responses, and adjust
care plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on
treatment plans, post-treatment care, and disease management.
Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to
advance nursing practices and improve patient outcomes. Maintain
accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal
and ethical standards. Proficient in clinical skills specific to
orthopedic and spine care. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging
environment. Skilled in the use of medical software and patient
management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of practice. Certification in Orthopedic Nursing (ONC)
preferred but not required.
