Job Description Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity - Cooperstown, NYA progressive academic healthcare system in central New York, and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join their team.Position Details - Join an established group of 3 physicians providing comprehensive infectious disease care.Provide both inpatient and outpatient consults. - Manage outpatient longitudinal HIV care. - Participate in a 1:4 infectious disease call schedule, with coverage primarily by phone. - Opportunity to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals. - Engage in clinical research, stewardship, and infection control initiatives. - Moonlighting opportunities available for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist. - Faculty appointment with Columbia University offers daily interaction with medical students, as well as internal medicine and transitional residents. - Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.Benefits Details - Salary range: $210,000 - $239,000, based on qualifications, experience, and industry standards. - Sign-on bonus up to $100,000. - Group employed model. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. - Paid time off, including vacations and holidays. - Life insurance and disability protection. - Paid malpractice insurance. - Retirement benefits. - CME time and allowance (10 days and $4,000 for 1.0 FTE). - Moving allowance (Up to $10,000).Position Requirements - MD, DO, or MBBS. - New York State Licensure. - Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease. - BLS certification required.
