Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Potsdam, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,254 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Potsdam, New York, 13676! Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit / Telemetry RN – New York Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Potsdam, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Block scheduling; days/weekends 1:3-5 ratios, nights 1:3-6 ratios adjusted by acuity; every other weekend required; floating to sister units as needed Highlights: Mixed acuity unit caring for PCU, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and general Med-Surg patients Diverse patient population including surgical pre/post-op for ENT, general surgery, trauma, and orthopedics Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more 12-hour orientation with billable pre-start modules (up to 5 hours) Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed during contract Requirements: Active New York RN license required in hand prior to submission Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience within the last 3 years is mandatory Epic charting experience required ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS and TCAR preferred Comprehensive telemetry and critical care skills including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip titration, wound care, chest tube management, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care Experience with high-acuity procedures including tracheostomy management, BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and ABG interpretation Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location Why It's a Great Opportunity: This progressive care unit offers experienced RNs the chance to utilize advanced clinical skills across a broad spectrum of surgical and medical patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
