Medicare Sales Agent - Northeastern OhioNTT DATA - (territory includes Twinsburg, North Canton, Mayfield Hts., Green, Kent & Canton)Full time, temporary (6+ months)Start date: March 27, 2023Pay rate: $30.45/hourHours: M-F (In store 4 days/week; Remote 1 day/week)Job Description:

• Sells and promotes Medicare products by coordinating and delivering formal sales presentations to individuals and consumer groups, arranging private consultations at retail or in the customer's home or venue of choice, and making outbound phone calls to prospects.
• Follows up on new sales leads, referrals, and conducts own prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Qualifies and educates prospective members on product, pricing and services, and facilitates enrollment.
• Identifies opportunities to educate about the Medicare journey and its products within the assigned territory through relationship building with contracted medical providers, senior organizations, and other community leaders.
• Identifies and pursues opportunities to cross-sell value-added ancillary products such as critical illness, hospital indemnity, and dental and vision coverage.General characteristics of agent
  • Licensed Health Insurance Agent
  • Ideally licensed to sell and contracted and Ready-to-Sell (RTS) with multiple Medicare carriers
  • Experienced selling Medicare products (e.g., MAPD, DSNP, PDP, Med-Supp, and senior ancillary products)
  • Skilled at doing face-to-face selling as well as remote selling using an on-line enrollment tool (training provided for the on-line tool)
  • Able to do on-site educational and sales events at locations in their community
  • Able to work within compliance of all Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal regulationsGeneral characteristics of job and role
    • Must have ability to work in a retail store 4 days a week -
    • Must have reliable transportation to get to each of 6 different stores where they will work
    • Must be able to contract with Aetna MAPD and Silverscript
    • Has suitable band-with to work-from-homeSources of leads:
      • Agent will respond to inquiries from prospective beneficiaries while in store
      • Agent will receive leads from employers
      • Agent may receive online/web/direct mail leads
      • Agent will conduct marketing and lead generation activities in their community (training and guidance provided by Sales Manager)
      • Light lifting required (15 - 20 pounds)Requirements:
        • Minimum of 2 years in-person sales presentation experience (field experience) selling Medicare Healthcare Insurance
        • Active Healthcare Insurance licenseEducation:High school diploma or GEDBachelor's degree preferred
