Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee and support our inside sales Business Development team. The Inside Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.
From overseeing sales personnel to setting sales targets, the primary role of Inside Sales Managers is to ensure the success of a company's lead generation team. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible to hire, train, motivate and manage the professional development of an inside sales team, which consists of individuals who conduct prospecting outreach via phones, email, or the Internet. They set sales goals, track sales, produce sales reports, complete monthly forecasting. It is essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for these employees.
The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. They will work closely with Sales Leadership to develop inside sales strategy and programs focused on pipeline generation and customer acquisition. Ultimately, the Inside Sales Manager will be able to build a high-performance sales team to ensure a continuous flow of scheduled meetings and demonstrations for the New Business Consultant's team, while coaching, training, and mentoring on all means of prospecting outreach.
It is up to the Inside Sales Manager to measure the performance of the inside sales staff and determine if existing practices and processes are generating adequate results. They will suggest improvements to sales processes as needed, implement improvements, and monitor the impact of these changes over a determined period.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inside sales representatives team.
  • Set and track sales targets for your team.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process, use of CRM.
  • Evolving all types of prospecting skills including but not limited to cold and warm calling, cold and warm emails and use of social media outreach.
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines.
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts to assist the company in making sound business decisions
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new prospecting scripts.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
  • Hiring and training inside sales staff.
  • Evaluating sales processes and procedures.
  • Drive the Business Development Team to generate new sales opportunities by setting new meetings and demo appointments for the New Business Consultant Team
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising members of the inside sales team.
  • Educating inside sales staff on effectively answering common customer questions.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the inside sales staff receive quality leads to pursue.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads and actual sales.
  • Evaluating current sales practices and procedures to determine whether they are effective in generating sales.
  • Draw actionable insights from sales and performance data to continually drive funnel optimization
  • Manage and monitor accurate data input into the companies chosen CRM.
  • Utilize CRM to track Bus Dev performance as well as produce reports and potential target call lists.
  • Utilize CRM and other available resources to perform Market analysis tools - various online and software tools exist that can help determine demographics, customer behavior, market trends and more.
    Inside Sales Manager Skills:
    The strongest skills that Inside Sales Managers should possess include written and verbal communication, listening, customer service and organizational skills. Inside Sales Managers should be team-building and resourceful problem-solvers who can motivate and coach sales employees, generate change and work with a diverse group of people. Strong analytical, time management and leadership skills are also essential to this position. Along with these abilities, it is imperative that Inside Sales Managers be capable of the following:

    Requirements
    • Proven work experience as an Inside sales manager
    • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
    • In-depth understanding of the sales processes specifically prospecting to get Transfinder in the door of target accounts.
    • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
    • BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
