From generous benefits, including bonus opportunities and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), to great employee retention, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving organization!Benefits: Lane offers a generous benefits package to include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Company paid Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, ESOP opportunity and a generous bonus incentive plan.Job Summary:As a Mechanic you will oversee and perform the preventative and reactive maintenance duties required for the plant manufacturing operation.Essential Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systemsPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on semi-trucks, forklifts and trailersConduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely mannerTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problemsWeld and fabricate parts as needed, is a plusRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activitiesEnsure OSHA compliance with safety regulations and company policiesRequirements:Required Skills & Abilities:Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniquesFamiliarity with electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panelsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsProficient in welding and fabrication techniques, are a plusKnowledge of logic controllers and automation systems are a plusExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalEducation and Experience:Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in minor semi-truck repairs including tires and brakesHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent education preferred.CDL Class A or B Driver license is a PlusPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift loads of up to 100 pounds without the lift truck.Ability to climb, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and reach above shoulder level.Ability to withstand varying temperatures.Must be able to work in different positions for a very long period of time and ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time.Must be able to utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment required for each job task (Steel toed shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, hard hat).Lane Enterprises is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)Compensation details: 22-24 Hourly WagePI53827248bc50-25660-34851618
