We are on a mission to revitalize American manufacturing by being the fastest, high quality provider of precision parts with a relentless focus on culture, the next generation and Lean manufacturing.Supply Chain Operator - Kitting is a critical role focusing on stocking our kit packages of parts for internal use and customer sales. The ideal candidate is a flexible self-starter who prioritizes daily workload, executes kitting from stocked and manufactured parts, accurately records and fulfills kits for customers, and replenishes stock from manufacturing and purchasing.P1 is seeking candidates with up to 5 years' experience in distribution, warehousing, stocking, or similar supply chain roles. This role is perfect for someone looking for the self-satisfaction of being organized and timely in kitting for customers in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment and helping P1 revitalize American manufacturing!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan and prioritize what needs to be kitted each day from software reports and team interaction.
• Fulfill kit orders and maintain accurate and timely records in P1 software systems.
• Manage kit lists for all shop orders, creating Bill of Material (BOM) check lists as needed.
• Proactively ensure all items on kitting lists are in stock or on-order to meet customer ship dates.
• Receive purchased parts, stock to warehouse and label as required.
• Assist with part identification marking as needed.
• Package and occasionally assist with crating when needed to fulfil kit orders.
• Create, update, and manage paperwork such as job card travelers for kitting and stocking.
• Ensure final kitting is in compliance with any additional customer requirements before signing off.
• Communicate with the production and the supply chain team as needed.Requirements:
  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to learn P1 inventory software systems
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to move materials using a fork truck or pallet jack
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and work standing for most of the day
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Diligence and care in packaging for customer first impressions
  • Excellent housekeeping and safety practicesYou should be proficient in:
    • Basic Computer Skills
