Working under the direction of the Cogeneration Plant Supervisor, the employee will monitor, watch, and read only instrumentation within the cogeneration/heat plant. Including but not limited to a gas-fired turbine, Heat recovery steam generator, Absorption and centrifugal chillers, high-pressure steam boilers, as well as all other associated equipment and systems that support the central plant. In the event of an alarm or emergency the individual will notify qualified personnel.

Qualifications: The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must also have the ability to read and interpret instrumentation pertaining to equipment and systems, excellent communication and team building skills, a valid NYS driver's license and a relatively clean driving record. Knowledge of high pressure boilers and a mechanical background is a plus. Must be safety conscious and able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
