Role Summary:The Executive - HR Business Partnership is the global HR leader for Digital Services and Project Management across GE Renewable Energy. You will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategy in support of business objectives and as a connected partner for business leaders; and for providing expertise / guidance in the areas of culture and change management, strategic coaching, talent assessment / development, succession planning, performance management and organizational design.Essential Responsibilities:As the Executive - HR Business Partnership, you will:* Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of HR client support* Partner with the business leader to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives* Partner with business leaders to develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture and leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change* Act as an organizational & simplification champion, building organizational capabilities, reducing complexity and partnering with clients to maximize team performance* Strategically partner with business leaders to design and implement the most effective global organizational structures and manage transitions* Provide timely, effective and direct coaching to business leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills* Provide strategic coaching to key talent in extended client groups as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management* Lead leadership assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent* Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines mentoring, training, etc.* Strategically lead business and HR team through critical HR operating rhythms, such as Session C, salary planning and performance management* Lead global facilitation of HR support to develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talentQualifications/Requirements:* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a related area (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience)* Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience with demonstrated achievement and leadership in HR, Finance and/or Operations / Service-oriented environmentELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:* Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the timeDesired Characteristics:* Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university or college* Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) graduate or equivalent leadership / development program* In-depth understanding of HR concepts and principles gained through formal education and substantial work experience* Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders* Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations / make judgments based on practice or previous experience* Ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive / diverse workforce* Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience needed to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related training programs to groups of managers / colleagues* Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture* Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills* Ability to influence others by presenting sound and logical arguments tailored to the audience* Capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion* Strong internal and external customer service focus with a genuine desire to assist others* Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels* Ability to energize and lead in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations* Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements* Developed (oral and written) communication and diplomacy skill set* Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement* Coaching and leadership assessment experience* PHR / SPHR certificationTo stay connected with exciting news and the latest job opportunities from GE businesses, follow us on twitter: @geconnectionsAbout Us:GE Renewable Energy harnesses the earth's most abundant resources - the strength of the wind, the heat of the sun and the force of water - to power the world's biggest economies and the most remote communities.With an innovative spirit and an entrepreneurial mindset, we engineer energy products and digital services that create industry-leading value for our customers around the world.We see the promise of renewable energy everywhere we look.
