SUMMARY

All work is under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assists pharmacists in the data entry and preparation of prescriptions with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency. Assists the pharmacist with inventory ordering, receiving, reports, and drug recalls. Provides excellent customer service including intake, release to patient, communicating on the telephone and assisting our customers. Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times to ensure that the customer has a positive shopping experience and customer satisfaction.
• Accurate data entry of information into the prescription dispensing computer system
  • Reconcile third party insurance billing issues for proper reimbursement
    • Assess, input and retrieve information from the computer
      • Performs administrative duties
      • Develops a positive relationship with Price Chopper employees and customers.
        • Maintains a clean, neat and organized work station
          • Presents a professional image .

            Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

            Successful completion of preliminary knowledge and skills assessment

            High school diploma or GED
            
            Must be at least 18 years of age
