challenges.Responsibilities:JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of the
Client Advisor and Business Insurance Manager, to assist the
Commercial Lines Department by providing customer service to
commercial clients and assist with client service duties as needed
by team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and
process all types of bonds as requestedRequest and follow-up with
clients for Pre-Renewal Information.Process new business, renewals,
audits, endorsements etc. received from insurance carriers in our
agency management system with Account Premium of $100,000 -
$199,999Handle tasks for accounts needing special handlingAssist
with required supplementary applications as neededRemarket policies
to various carriers online for team as neededBind policies with
carriers under the direction of the Client AdvisorAttend
renewal/new business meetings with team as requestedCreate, edit
and finalize various types of proposals and coverage comparison
spreadsheets for Client Advisor as requestedCreate, edit and
finalize spreadsheet allocations for insureds included but not
limited to premium, locations, vehicles, entities etc.Compute and
initiate premium finance contracts as neededComplete loss analysis
based on loss history received from carriersComplete Bid
Specifications Worksheets based on insured's contracts as needed
and assist with quoting ancillary policies such as OCPs, Builders
Risk, etc.Assist with the facilitation of the Service/Stewardship
PlanFollow up on outstanding loss control services as
neededMaintain tasks in WorkSmartAccept and initiate contact with
clients (initial contact or back-up) via email or telephoneHave a
basic understanding of Excess & Surplus Lines Placement; complete
Affidavits & Total Cost FormsAssist with client billing inquiries -
call carriers and provide information to clientsResolve premium
account differences for your accountsCreate various Master
Certificate Templates in CSR24Analyze insurance requirements on
requests for Certificates of Insurance and determine if coverage is
in place or policies need to be endorsedManage pre-determined book
of business as the Primary Contact; Accounts under $5,000 in
RevenueWork closely and communicate daily with Client Advisors,
Account Executives and Producers for assistance and guidance and
update Client Advisor daily on account activityMonitor assigned
Team's pooled to-do list and identify items needing to be handled
with urgency by Business Insurance Technician I-III, as needed and
assign as necessaryPerform other duties as
required.Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To
perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to

Certifications/Licenses:Property/Casualty License RequiredMaintain
NYS Agent/Broker LicensePursuing or maintaining CISR
DesignationExperience/Skills:Insurance Experience RequiredCustomer
Service Experience RequiredAbility to use menu-driven software in
addition to Word, Excel and PowerPoint programsSelf-Motivated,
ability to work both independently and in team settingsGood
organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
