    This role can be worked virtually (remote) within New York State.

    The Analyst will be part of the Customer Engagement team. The analyst will leverage data to recommend high value focus areas to improve our customer experiences, inform design of both digital and non-digital experiences, track and monitor outcomes (adoption/ROI) to recommend improvement to existing products and services. The analyst will also collect and monitor customer KPI's as identified.

    Responsibilities of this position will include the following:

  • Analyze and synthesize data provided by our innovation team to support prioritization discussions as well as product design
  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and the market and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Manage and executes all phases of a research study, including study design, questionnaire development, analysis, and reporting
  • Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
  • Work with experience strategists to understand the customer journeys and collect/analyze data where needed
  • Gather data from qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform roadmaps
  • Track and manage metrics to measure product performance (e.g. adoption metrics, customer satisfaction, etc.)
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products
  • Participate in design sessions as needed for features and solutions, supplying data where appropriate
  • Analyze Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) including outcomes, unmet needs and metrics to inform the planning and design of customer experiences
  • Conduct customer outreach to identify requirements associated with products/services, research reported dissatisfaction and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager or Professional, Market Research Professional

Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Passionate about customer success and customer results
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Ability to present to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze data and make recommendations to the business
  • Ability to influence technical and non-technical partners
  • Search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Excel based data-analysis
  • Knowledge of statistical packages, databases, and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI reporting/analytics tools (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Jobs To Be Done data including job maps, outcomes, unmet needs and JTBD analytics tools (preferred)

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Market Research, Data Analytics, Statistics, Math, Marketing or related field or relevant work experience.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
