Job Description Summary

The CSA Productivity Parts Life Management Leader is responsible for developing the strategy and implementing programs that expand the productive life of capital components while mitigating the impacts of technical risks within the CSA portfolio. This role will work closely with Engineering to develop productivity pipelines and drive execution.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Part Life Management strategy for the CSA Productivity Engineering COE. This includes identifying clear value streams to enable productivity programs and driving the execution to meet financial targets.
  • Perform financial analysis for productivity programs and emerging technical risks as critical input to prioritize funding and resources to achieve the most favorable business outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering team to create a robust pipeline of future productivity programs with substantiated business cases.
  • Ingrain elements of daily management into the processes of identifying and executing productivity programs. These should include lean principles that drive standard work, data connectivity & availability, and visual management.
  • Build and enhance tools that improve the efficiency of what-if scenarios, financial impact calculations, and control mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Preferably in Engineering or Finance
  • Demonstrated experience, preferably in a technical or analytical role in gas turbine services operations, engineering, or long-term service agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complicated problems and develop, communicate, and execute an action plan
  • This role is for candidates authorized to work in the US and/or Spain
  • For Applicants in Spain: Nonnational candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement
  • EU Work Permit

  • Ability to influence cross-functionally and present to leadership
  • Knowledge and understanding of CSA operational rhythms and metrics
  • Technical understanding of gas turbine components
  • Strong analytical and process development skills
  • Understanding of lean principles and demonstrated implementation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in a related field desired
