About the Role:

We are seeking a talented, customer-obsessed Product Marketing Lead dedicated to helping our customers realize their opportunities and future with Epicor solutions. As Product Marketing Lead for Conversions and Migrations you will be responsible for developing and delivering successful conversion and migration strategies for our portfolio of legacy and on-premises solutions. You will analyze audiences, discover and define obstacles to change, develop differentiated messaging and positioning, and create compelling content and offerings that both drive demand for our Epicor go-forward products and enables the sales organization to pitch and progress opportunities successfully. The Product Marketing Lead will be an expert on our conversion and migration business. You will help us expand the footprint of our go-forward customer base and help influence the product roadmap by bringing market and customer insights to Product Management and Development. You'll also work closely with your Product Marketing counterparts to deliver strong cohesive messages around our go-forward product platforms. You will work with sales and industry marketing to define the go-to-market strategic imperatives, helping them understand the product messaging and positioning, business scenarios, key benefits, and target customer.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop product messaging and positioning-creatively connect product functionality to meaningful benefits to customers while differentiating Epicor solutions in the industries we serve. Build case studies to support the established narrative.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies-drive customer interest at the top of the marketing funnel and accelerate velocity through the pipeline. Create compelling reasons for customers to stay within the Epicor family vs. pursuing outside solutions.
  • Launch programs-develop supporting content, align sales objectives to marketing plans, deliver sales training, and ensure organizational and operational readiness
  • Sales enablement-identify and communicate the value proposition of our conversion and migration programs and solutions to the Sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
  • Market and competitive intelligence-identify barriers to migrations and conversions due to feature parity, customization trends, pricing, etc. and be the expert on your target markets, including sizing the opportunity, competition, buyer personas, buying criteria, and market problems
  • Cross-functional collaboration-work closely with key executives and colleagues in all key company functions, including the Product Management Lead for Conversions and Migrations
  • Analytics-ensuring metrics for success are clearly identified and accurately delivered in a timely manner.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 10+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in SaaS product marketing
  • Ability to deliver and communicate the value proposition of the products and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your solutions
  • Understanding and experience launching products or programs, including development of content, aligning sales objectives to marketing plans, and delivery through appropriate channels.
  • Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • A desire to understand business challenges facing customers and the ability to align Epicor solutions that drive better business value outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or marketing.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Pragmatic Marketing certification (or other product marketing training
  • Understanding of small to mid-size business environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, "get it done" environment that requires both strategic thinking as well as tactical execution
  • Experience marketing enterprise software, specifically in areas of ERP, Manufacturing, Distribution or Building Supplies
