Job Description Job Description Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Wage: $18.00 per hour The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. The Material Handler will also be responsible for operating material handling equipment and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming materials Store materials in designated locations Pick and pack materials for shipment Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment Accurately record all inventory movements using an RF scanner. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Able to read and write in English Working Conditions: The Material Handler will work in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental factors. The position may require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time
