Job Description Job Description Qualifications: Proven
experience in inventory management, financial analysis, or a
similar role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and
inventory management software. Attention to detail and strong
organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork
abilities. Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical
office setting, but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a
warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting,
standing. and/or bending; listening, talking and/or visual
concentration; writing and/or computer use. This position would
normally have routine opportunities to alter physical position or
change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 30 pounds.
Position Summary: The Inventory Financial Specialist is responsible
for managing and analyzing inventory financial data to ensure
accuracy and efficiency in inventory management. Duties and
Responsibilities: Inventory Management Review product numbers and
vendor/donor records ensuring accuracy. Assist in researching
inventory discrepancies. Assist in researching Agency order/payment
discrepancies. Review inventory receipts ensuring accuracy. Monitor
flow of inventory within the Food Bank ensuring accurate tracking
and processing of goods. Assist in review and implementation of
inventory and receiving processes. Reconcile monthly inventory.
Assist with physical inventory/cycle count review. Support
month-end closing activities. Utilize inventory management software
and financial systems to track and report inventory data.
Collaborate closely with operations, purchasing, and finance teams.
Internal Controls: Adheres to internal reporting procedures to
safeguard organizational assets and ensures accurate financial
reporting. Audit Coordination: Assists with all financial and
inventory audits. Other duties Works independently and
collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of
the mission of the Food Bank. Ensures a safe, secure, and legal
environment. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Follows all
safety standards and procedures. Adheres to the Food Bank's
Employee Code of Conduct. Performs other duties as assigned. The
