Job Description:
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory comprises the U.S. Department of
Energy locations and personnel responsible for developing advanced
naval nuclear propulsion technology, providing technical support to
ensure the safety and reliability of our nation's naval nuclear
reactors, and training the Sailors who operate those reactors in
the U.S. Navy's submarines and aircraft carrier Fleets. The Naval
Nuclear Laboratory includes the Bettis and Knolls Atomic Power
Laboratories, the Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and the Naval
Reactors Facility which have proudly supported the nation since
1946. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory has nearly 8,000 employees
working at primary locations in Pennsylvania, New York, South
Carolina, and Idaho. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory also has an
established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations
around the globe. We are dedicated solely to the support of the
United States Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. The Naval Nuclear
Laboratory is operated by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC, a wholly
own a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.

IT Department is looking for an Application Hosting Administrator.
This person will join a team who manages various hosting platforms
for custom develop applications, designs and implements next
generation hosting infrastructure, and supports a number of
applications for our lines of business. They will set-up,
configure, monitor and maintain the servers supporting this hosting

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a
minimum of nine years of relevant experience or;
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or
university and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
--- Previous experience supporting COTS applications such as
Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Azure, Adobe ColdFusion, etc.
--- Application development, including integrations with COTS
applications.
--- Demonstrated ability in both verbal and written forms of
communication with colleagues in a teaming environment.
--- Broad knowledge of infrastructure (network, database, and
servers), scripting, and security policies.
--- Planning and managing the product life-cycles of existing and
new implementations, including applying periodic operating system
and application patches.
--- Participating in the solution development process and ensuring
that customer requests and needs are represented within the
product,
--- Collaborating with individuals internal and external to IT when
planning and supporting hosting infrastructure.
--- Thoroughly documenting processes, procedures, configurations,
and test plans.
--- Demonstrated experience in software programming,
troubleshooting and problem resolution in one or more: C#, Visual
Basic, JavaScript, SQL, or other related application development
environments or languages.
--- Ability to work on multiple task assignments simultaneously
while maintaining accuracy on all work efforts.
--- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and
non-technical teams.
