**Office Location in SOHO must be within commuting distanceThe Learning & Development Coordinator plays a critical role on the Talent and Culture team While the daily tasks may vary they are pivotal partners in providing coordination and support for all learning programs and talent team projects. They manage and drive essential activities that keep learners and leaders engaged . The position is about maximizing operational efficiency with a strong focus of customer service.Key Responsibilities:Learning & DevelopmentCoordinates learning program activities including scheduling, waitlist monitoring and participant and vendor communicationCreates and maintains the training calendar, assists with vendor management and schedulingDelivers a best in class learning experience for participantsActs as the primary point of contact for all live training and events, joins all training sessions to ensure everything is set up properly and address any access issues for vendors/attendees.Anticipates and follows up on requests and issues with a proactive, problem-solving approachResponsible training/event logistics including setup or live or virtual environment, event materials, and other logisticsTalent & Culture Team InitiativesActively manages project timelines for an HR and Survey software roll out, including meeting, system testing, and follow up on action itemsSupports Talent and Culture team with scheduling, presentation design, and project admin as neededOngoing research of the industry to collect information on trends and make recommendationsSeeks out and recommends process improvements; implements new procedures as appropriateREQUIRED: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional office environment is required. Minimum of 1 year working in Learning/HR or related function or staffing agency either as a Project Coordinator and/or similar role with basic understanding of learning and organizational development or HR concepts, policies, and administrative procedures is required. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrable skills in detail and organization, time management and ability to continually reprioritizing work activity. Demonstrated ability to maintain sensitive information in strictest confidence and absolute confidentiality in all business matters. Self-motivated and goal oriented, highly responsive and able to take initiative and work successfully both independently and as a team member.PREFERRED: Experience working with Learning Management Systems and/or Talent Management systems a is highly preferred. Successful characteristics and practices include: self-motivated and goal oriented; highly responsive; detailed and organized; able to take initiative and adapt to change; and, work successfully both independently and as a team member.Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required: YesEducation:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experienceWhat days & hours will the person work in this position? List training hours, if different. Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 pm
