ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care ~ Discipline: RN ~ Start Date: 08/11/2025 ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~36 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Travel CTICU AUGUST START DATE Cardiothoracic ICU Post-op fresh heart experience - must be able to take the patient from the OR, CRRT, Impella, and IAPB. FRESH HEART EXP IS REQUIRED Submission Requirements: 75 MILE RADIUS RULE - TRAVEL WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles) Up to date resume that includes 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience. 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References Skills Checklist matching specialty Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics Current AHA ACLS , BLS, NIHSS NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License RTO MUST be included at time of submission EMR Exp Required: EPIC Unit Specifics: Beds: CTICU: 6 Common patient diagnosis: CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding) Drips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
