Job Description PeopleMed a division of All About People is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Cooperstown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel 5x8's M-F 10:30am-7pm Equipment & Environment ? Scanners: Philips 3T and 1.5T (5.7 software) ? Scanners covered by traveler: 1 ? Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient ? Average scans/shift: 7–11 ? PACS/RIS: Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions (McKesson) / Epic RIS Exam Types & Skill Expectations ? Most Common Studies: Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, General MRI ? Advanced Studies Required: Yes (Traveler will not perform Cardiac MRI) ? Contrast Administration: Required ? IV Starts: Not required ? Pediatric Imaging: Required Workflow & Autonomy ? Radiologist coverage: On-site and remote reading ? Patient screening: MRI Technologist responsible ? Patient transport: Hospital transport team Schedule & Coverage ? Call: o 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (Sat/Sun) o 4–5 weekends during a 13-week assignment ? Holidays: Required if it falls during call week Support Sta? ? Sedation cases: MRI Tech and Nurse ? Cross-coverage: No CT or X-ray coverage if volume is low Certifications & Experience Requirements ? Required: ARRT (MR) and BLS ? ARRT (R) only: Not accepted — must hold MRI certification ? Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
