Job Description:

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced E7- Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse (Clinical Nurse III) to join our innovative healthcare team. This role focuses on providing critical care to ill or injured children in our state-of-the-art Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and skilled in pediatric acute care. Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill or injured children in the Pediatric ICU. Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond with appropriate interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate and support patients' families regarding care processes and treatment plans. Participate in research and continuous improvement efforts within the pediatric unit. Expertise in pediatric acute care nursing Ability to operate complex medical machinery Strong skills in patient and family communication Proficiency in electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of practice Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) certification preferred
