hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/31/2026 About the
Position Job Summary: The Radiology Specialist Assistant provides
patient care and supports interventional radiology procedures under
physician supervision. The role involves patient assessment,
procedural assistance, and coordination of care across a variety of
imaging and minimally invasive procedures. Job Description: Assist
physicians with interventional radiology procedures and patient
management Perform patient assessments and provide age-appropriate
care Support procedures such as fluoroscopic studies, biopsies,
drain placements, and injections Prepare patients for procedures
and provide pre- and post-procedure education Maintain patient
safety, infection control, and radiation protection standards
Document procedures, findings, and patient outcomes accurately
Coordinate workflow and maintain efficient patient flow Collaborate
with radiologists, nurses, and technologists Respond to emergency
situations as needed Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
in Radiologic Technology or related field (required) Certification
from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in
Radiography (required) Additional certification such as Registered
Radiologist Assistant (RRA) or PA (preferred) BLS certification
(required) and ACLS preferred Minimum experience in interventional
radiology or related specialty Strong knowledge of imaging
