Travel Nursing Job Details - Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Telemetry/Neuro - T6) - Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN) - Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 (Upstate New York healthcare) - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: 03/12/2026 - End Date: 06/11/2026 - Schedule: Nights - Shift Duration: 12-hour nights - Hours per Week: 36 (24 GWW) - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Unit Size: 16 beds - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4–5 - Charting System: Epic (experience required) - Orientation: 8 hours - Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,130 – $2,250 - Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color; no designs/cartoons; no hoodies) Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements - RN Experience: 3 years of recent Registered Nurse experience (required) - Specialty: Strong proficiency in Med-Tele / Med/Surg Telemetry and cardiac telemetry (required) - EMR: Epic experience (required) - State License: New York (per assignment requirements) - Certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) (required) - Telemetry Skills: Ability to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms at least 2x per shift (required) - Mobility: Must have your own vehicle (required) - Preferred: Prior travel RN / travel nursing experience - Preferred: Neuro, stroke, or telemetry/neuro unit experience - Compliance: Ability to complete onboarding training and screening requirements within requested timelines Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities - Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. - Provide continuous telemetry monitoring; accurately interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms per unit expectations. - Perform focused assessments, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly using appropriate clinical pathways. - Administer medications and treatments, evaluate patient response, and document care in Epic. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate plans of care, patient education, and discharge readiness. - Maintain professionalism, reliability, and clear communication to support a patient-centered environment throughout the travel assignment.
