Qualifications (PCU RN — Neurology) - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in New York - Minimum 1 year experience in
Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU nursing - Epic EMR experience
required - Ability to pass a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon
offer Job Requirements & Qualifications - Current New York RN
license (required) - At least 1 year of clinical experience in
neurology, neuro stepdown, progressive care, or ICU acute care
nursing - Proficiency with Epic EMR for documentation and order
management - Strong neurological assessment skills and clinical
judgment - Excellent communication and interdisciplinary
collaboration skills - Willingness to float to other units as
needed - Unit dress code: navy blue scrubs required
Responsibilities (Progressive Care / Neurology RN) - Provide
high-quality, patient-centered care in the Neurology Progressive
Care Unit (PCU) - Perform frequent neurological assessments and
monitor for changes in patient status - Administer medications and
treatments safely and according to orders - Document assessments,
interventions, and patient responses accurately using Epic EMR -
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary
teams to develop and implement individualized care plans - Respond
promptly to clinical changes and escalate care according to
hospital protocols - Support unit operations and float to other
