Required Skills: Valid Physician Assistant licensure in the respective state Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Proven experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, or emergency medicine Strong clinical decision-making, assessment, and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations Knowledge of hospital protocols, EMR systems, and patient safety standards Nice to Have Skills: Previous night shift experience ACLS and BLS certifications Experience with inpatient procedures Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitalist or internal medicine settings Prior experience working in acute care or emergency departments Other Requirements: Availability to start on 05/01/2026 Reliable transportation if travel is necessary for training or requirements Willingness to work a night shift (17:00 - 05:00, 1x24-hour shift) Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Physician Assistants to advance their careers in a rewarding hospital setting.
