Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Schenectady, NY Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $2,250 to $2,350 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration, EKGs, and management of drips and infusions. Assist in the evaluation and stabilization of patients presenting with illness, trauma, or psychiatric crises. Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe and effective patient care. Float to the ED Observation Unit as assigned. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (Cerner). Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols. Requirements Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross) – PALS required Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing (2 years preferred) Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend Preferred: TNCC and ENPC certifications CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
