and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Short Stay Surgical Unit.
This role is critical in delivering high-quality care to patients
recovering from surgical procedures during nighttime hours. As part
of our team, you will work in a dynamic environment that values
collaboration and innovation, ensuring the well-being and safety of
patients during their short postoperative stay. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to patients in the postoperative phase.
Closely monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress,
adjusting care plans as necessary. Collaborate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
cohesive patient care and management. Educate patients and their
families on postoperative care and discharge planning. Administer
medications accurately and safely, monitoring for adverse
reactions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for
patients and staff. Document patient care services by charting in
patient and department records. Strong clinical skills with a focus
on surgical recovery and patient care Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and
electronic health records Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced environment Strong decision-making and problem-solving
skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
