Job Description:
Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated Clinical Nurse II: D4N

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the D4N
department, adhering to and implementing customized care plans.
Monitor patient condition, assess needs, and respond with
appropriate interventions. Administer medications accurately and
observe patients for responses. Record all patient interactions and
treatments properly in medical records. Participate in
interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare team
members to optimize patient outcomes. Advocate for patients and
their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans and
preventive measures. Contribute to nursing research and review
updated guidelines to stay abreast of advances in the field. Strong
patient assessment and management skills. Proficient in using
medical software for patient records. Skilled at IV insertion,
medication administration, and wound care. Effective communication
and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with patients,
families, and medical staff. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. BLS/CPR certification. Preferably
certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
