Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals. Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with the healthcare team to devise effective care plans. Ensure the safety of patients during surgical procedures. Attend educational workshops to maintain and improve professional competence. Follow policies and protocols of Albany Medical Center to uphold patient care standards. Strong clinical skills in a surgical setting Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in using medical software and patient management systems Capable of critical thinking and quick problem-solving Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
