Job Description:
Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated RN-Education Specialist
for our Clinical Center for Learning and Development. This integral
role requires blending clinical expertise with a passion for
teaching, focusing on training the next generation of healthcare
professionals. Situated at the forefront of a leading healthcare
system, this position involves designing, implementing, and
evaluating educational programs that align with the latest medical
practices and our institutional goals. The successful candidate
will foster a collaborative learning environment, aid in clinical
competency development, and ensure our staff is equipped with
cutting-edge knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. Develop
and implement educational materials and programs for staff and
students within the healthcare system. Evaluate program
effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to improve
outcomes. Facilitate hands-on training sessions, workshops, and
seminars. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure
content accuracy and relevancy. Utilize adult learning principles
to enhance instruction and engagement. Mentor and support clinical
staff in their professional development and continuous learning.
Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements and healthcare
regulations. Strong background in clinical nursing practices and
standards. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design curriculum and educational programs tailored to
adult learners in the healthcare setting. Proficiency in using
educational technology and learning management systems. Skill in
assessment and evaluation of training programs and learning
outcomes. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certified
Nurse Educator (CNE) or similar certification strongly
preferred.
