Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN-Education Specialist for our Clinical Center for Learning and Development. This vital role is designed for a Registered Nurse who will focus on enhancing the educational programs for nursing and clinical staff, ensuring a high level of care and ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational trainings and development programs, utilizing the latest in educational technology and methodologies to meet the needs of a dynamic healthcare environment. Develop, organize, and conduct training and educational programs for nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes. Integrate evidence-based practices into education curriculums. Collaborate with clinical leaders to assess ongoing educational needs. Stay updated on the latest in healthcare education and nursing practices. Strong educational and training skills Advanced knowledge of clinical practices and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to use educational technology and e-learning platforms Strong organizational and leadership skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state practicing Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD) is preferred
