As an Ambulatory RN specializing in neurosurgery, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of patients with neurological disorders. This position requires excellence in patient care, a commitment to improving outcomes, and a strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care plans. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for neurosurgery patients before, during, and after surgery. Coordinate with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing treatment options. Manage patient records and documentation efficiently and in compliance with medical laws. Participate in research and continuous education related to neurosurgery and patient care. Strong clinical skills in a surgical setting Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records Adept at patient and family education Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice CPR certified Preferred: Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or willingness to obtain certification within two years of employment
