This position requires a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide exceptional care and support to cardiology patients during the night shift. The role involves working collaboratively with cardiology specialists, utilizing cutting-edge medical practices and technology. The selected candidate will play a critical role in both direct patient care and departmental operations, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Provide direct nursing care to cardiology patients, observing and monitoring their condition. Administer medications and treatments accurately and promptly, following medical orders. Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to implement effective treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventative measures. Maintain patient records with accurate documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency. Advanced knowledge of cardiology nursing practices and principles. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
