Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a
dedicated Clinical Nurse II for our Orthopedics and Spine unit.
This position offers the unique opportunity to advance your nursing
skills in a state-of-the-art environment, where education,
research, and care come together to improve patient outcomes. As a
Clinical Nurse II, you will implement nursing processes for our
Ortho/Spine patients and collaborate with a skilled team committed
to renovative medical practices and compassionate care. Provide
direct and comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and spinal
patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and
implement care plans. Educate patients and their families on
treatment plans and post-hospitalization care. Monitor patient
progress and adjust care plans as needed. Participate in clinical
research and apply new knowledge to practice. Maintain a safe and
clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. Strong clinical skills in orthopedics and spinal care.
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in
using electronic health record systems. Capable of critical
thinking and quick decision-making in high-pressure situations.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current RN
license in the state of New York. BLS certification Preferably ACLS
certified and Orthopedic Nursing Certified (ONC).
