Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

a skilled Clinical Nurse II for our B3W surgical unit. This role is
pivotal in providing high-level care to post-operative patients and
ensuring their safety and recovery. Our Nurses are dedicated
professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and are
passionate about impacting patient lives positively. Provide
comprehensive post-operative nursing care to patients in the B3W
surgical unit. Monitor patient recovery and adjust care plans based
on patient needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare
teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and their
families about post-operative care and health management.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current
with healthcare trends and advancements. Strong clinical skills
with a focus on surgical/post-operative care Excellent patient
assessment skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure
environment Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred but not required.
