Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, renowned for merging superior patient

Clinical Nurse III for our specialized C4/C3W units, focused on
infectious disease management within a secure environment. This
role is pivotal in providing exceptional nursing services,
upholding stringent safety protocols, and ensuring compassionate
care to patients with infectious diseases. The ideal candidate will
be a seasoned professional ready to face the challenges and rewards
of working in a highly specialized and sensitive area of
healthcare. Provide high-quality nursing care for infectious
disease patients within a secure unit. Implement and monitor strict
infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
Administrate medications and treatments accurately, observing for
adverse reactions. Maintain comprehensive patient records and
update healthcare team members as necessary. Educate patients and
their families about disease processes, treatment, and containment
measures. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay
abreast of the latest practices in infectious disease care.
Expertise in infectious disease management Strong clinical skills
with a focus on safety and quality Ability to maintain high level
of discretion and confidentiality Proficiency in using medical
software and patient records systems Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Medical Insurance Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Certification in Infection Control
(CIC) preferred
