Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Bristol, CT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,676 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Bristol, Connecticut, 06010! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Night Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required, NRP Must-Have: NRP, Labor and Delivery experience Description: Unit Notes: All LDRP beds One OR suite on the unit for C-sections Two triage beds Twelve postpartum beds Approximately 580 births per year AWHONN guidelines for ratios are followed Required to titrate drips Common diagnoses include OB patients 35 weeks and above Charge nurse is available on all shifts OB techs are present and scrub for C-sections Pediatric hospitalist/APRN available 24/7 OB coverage only if patient is in labor RT equipment available, then baby is sent to a higher level of care No Tele/Monitor Technicians on the unit; RNs read their own strips EFM system used is Traceview 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM Every other weekend required Rotating holiday requirements No call or standby requirement No floating requirements Navy blue scrubs are required One-day orientation with professional development and 1 to 2 days shadowing on the unit Cancellation policy allows for three shifts to be canceled in a thirteen-week assignment without penalty Charting system is MEDITECH 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse portfolio of experiences adds depth to your professional profile.
