Job Description Job Description Job Title: Anesthesia Technologist Location: Syracuse, NY 13210 Position Type: Contract Pay Rate: $38–$42 per hour Shift Information Shift Type: Variable Schedule: 5 shifts per week Hours: 8-hour shifts Primary Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Rotating Shift: Occasional rotation to 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Weekends & On-Call: Weekend rotation with on-call responsibilities Position Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesiology services across all clinical areas where general anesthesia is administered. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, experience in acute and trauma care settings, and the ability to assist with invasive procedures while maintaining strict infection control and sterile techniques in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia support in all locations where general anesthesia is administered Perform operating room turnovers and prepare rooms for scheduled and emergency procedures Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functioning of anesthesia machines and related equipment Assist anesthesia providers with invasive procedures, including: Arterial line placement Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement Thermodilution catheter placement Prepare and manage sterile trays using aseptic and sterile techniques Maintain compliance with infection control standards for anesthesia equipment and supplies Order, stock, and maintain anesthesia supplies, carts, and work areas Support efficient surgical workflow in high-acuity and fast-paced environments Qualifications & Requirements Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program ASATT National Certification (Anesthesia Technologist) – Required CPR/BLS Certification – Required prior to start Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred 3–5 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician strongly preferred Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center highly preferred For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
