Job Description:
Albany Medical Center invites applications for the position of
Clinical Nurse III on our specialized unit C2, focusing on
Colorectal Surgery and Urology. This role is designed for a highly

specialized nursing care to patients in the Colorectal Surgery and
Urology units. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan,
implement, and evaluate patient treatment strategies. Contribute to
medical research and clinical trials. Mentor junior nurses and
participate in educational programs to stay abreast of advancements
in surgical and urology care. Maintain accurate patient records and
adhere to all safety guidelines. Proficiency in managing colorectal
and urological health conditions Strong leadership and teamwork
abilities Excellent communications skills Experience with
electronic health record systems Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced, research-integrated environment Medical Insurance

Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New York Certified in Basic
Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred Certification in Colorectal Nursing or Urology Nursing is
