Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring EPIC EMR experience and an active NY RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting - Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 - Works exclusively with emergency patient population - Uses EPIC EMR for documentation and charting, prior experience required - No local candidates from specified counties within a 50-mile radius are eligible - Medical exemptions for flu vaccine must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exceptions are not accepted - More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks - No blocked scheduling is permitted - Time off (RTO) must be requested during application - Travel pairs are not allowed - Travelers may only be considered for one position at a time /n /n Requirements/n - Active NY RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required - Certifications must be from AHA or RQI - EPIC EMR experience is mandatory for all applicants - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN is not accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-652906.
