Albany, New York Pediatric Neurology Job Clinical Role: Do you

as an Academic Neurologist in the Department of Pediatrics
Candidates with an interest in general child neurology as well as
those with subspecialty training in epilepsy or neuromuscular
diseases are welcomed The division consists of a seasoned child
neurologist, three pediatric nurse practitioners, three part-time
attendings, a neuropsychologist, a psychologist and a social worker
with excellent nursing and administrative support Join the only
children's hospital in northeastern New York with support from a
full complement of pediatric subspecialists as well as an
affiliated adult neurology department with active epilepsy,
neuromuscular, vascular and movement disorder divisions. Active
epilepsy surgery program with opportunities to expand into
pediatrics. The successful candidate will also be expected to take
advantage of the many opportunities to interact with medical
students and the house staff within the Neurology and Pediatrics
Departments with an academic rank commensurate with their
qualifications. Large experienced team of specialized and dedicated
nurses, dieticians, and social workers Larger Medical Center, Level
1 Trauma Center 60 - bed NICU, 19 bed PICU, new Peds ER True Board
Eligible or Board Certified with Pediatric Neurology training
required Active NY License & DEA preferred, not required Allow
