Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Glens Falls,
New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional

Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work in the Interventional
Radiology Lab providing care to both acute inpatient and elective
outpatient populations • Care provided within the Cardiovascular
Lab located on the 4th floor of the Pruyn Pavilion • Staff
available 24/7 for emergency procedures during off hours, weekends,
and holidays • Work with an interdisciplinary team of specialized
physicians, registered clinical nurses and registered radiology
technologists • Perform procedures including angiograms, peripheral
revascularization, hemodialysis catheter placement and maintenance,
nephrostomy drainage tubes, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tube
placement and maintenance • Handle central line placement, vascular
access including port placement and integrity, pain management
interventions, paracentesis/thoracentesis • Provide pre and
post-care for patients having renal, liver, and lung biopsies, and
carotid stenting • Serve patient population from adolescent to
geriatric • Required to float to Cardiac Cath Lab • Previous IR
experience required • Experience with adolescent-geriatric
population required • Experience with procedural sedation,
circulation, and recovery phase required • Previous travel
experience highly preferred • On-call requirement: 1 night per week
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every 7 weeks • Required
certifications: ACLS, BLS • New York nursing license required •
Hospital provided scrubs dress code • EMR systems: Cerner and
