Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Upstate New York Start Date: January 22, 2026 Location: Upstate New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend, 4:1 patient ratio, 16-bed telemetry unit Highlights: Primarily telemetry and cardiac patient population with adult to geriatric age range Remote telemetry unit with emphasis on cardiac rhythm interpretation and documentation Epic EMR system utilized across the facility 8-hour non-billable orientation provided Professional environment with flexible dress code (any color scrubs) Overtime available at 1.25x multiplier Requirements: Active New York RN license required ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications current and valid EPIC EMR experience mandatory Minimum 3 years of RN experience in telemetry, cardiac, or medical-telemetry settings Strong ability to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms twice per shift Completion of verbal de-escalation training (Welle or CPI) prior to start Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred Neuro or stroke experience highly preferred Reliable transportation required Permanent address must be outside designated local counties 14-panel drug screen completion within 24 hours of offer acceptance New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency license/registration certificate required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized telemetry environment with a strong focus on cardiac care and patient-centered nursing.
