Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Glens Falls, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,267 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/29/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Operating Room experience License: New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EPIC experience Strong skills in vascular and orthopedic surgery Circulating and scrub experience Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle Pediatric to adult patient population Description: EPIC experience is required. Effective immediately, the New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be included with all nursing submissions. This license is required by the state for temporary staffing. A 14-panel drug screen is required within 24 hours of offer acceptance. Activities include assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery. Responsibilities include patient assessment, maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment, and providing pre and post-operative education. Good communication skills are essential for monitoring physical and emotional well-being. The operating room offers coverage in various surgical specialties, excluding cardiac and ophthalmology. The average number of procedures performed daily is 50. All time off during the assignment must be noted and verified before uploading. A negative 14-panel drug screen must list specific substances. Traveler candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Permanent address must be included in the profile and should match the driver’s license/state ID.
