Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Location Glens Falls, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Days, with options for 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts. Job Description The Interventional Radiology Lab provides comprehensive care to both acute inpatients and elective outpatients. The facility operates 24/7, ensuring emergency procedures are addressed during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is delivered through an interdisciplinary team of physicians, registered nurses, and radiology technologists. Responsibilities Perform angiograms and multiple system peripheral revascularizations. Assist with the placement and maintenance of hemodialysis catheters, nephrostomy drainage tubes, and gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes. Conduct central line placements and vascular access procedures, including port placement and integrity checks. Administer pain management interventions and perform paracentesis/thoracentesis. Provide pre and post-care for patients undergoing renal, liver, and lung biopsies and carotid stenting. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Previous experience in Interventional Radiology. Experience working with adolescent to geriatric patients. Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, and the recovery phase. Float to Cardiac Cath Lab as required.
