Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of current medical-surgical
experience required License: Massachusetts Nursing License required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; Basic Dysrhythmia course
strongly preferred Must-Have: - Willingness to float to any
medical-surgical unit - Telemetry experience required - Personal
scrubs of any color Description: Requested time off during the
course of this assignment must be noted and verified prior to
submission. Requests for time off submitted after submission will
not be approved. No more than five days of requested time off will
be accepted. Travelers must be willing to float to any
medical-surgical unit. Profiles will not be presented without
specific interview dates and times of availability. "Anytime"
availability will not be accepted. Travelers must have their own
vehicle for this assignment. Travelers residing within 50 miles of
the facility will not be considered. Effective immediately, a
Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License must be
included with all submissions. COVID vaccination (dose date on or
after 10/3/23) is required for this position. Exemption forms are
available and must be signed by a provider or religious leader. If
a traveler is approved for an exemption, they will be required to
wear a mask at all times while on site. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
certifications must be included with the profile submission;
certificates will not be pending. Every other weekend and holidays
may be required if needed. Travelers must complete a skills
checklist that is current within the past year. A supervisory
signed reference from within the past two years of employment is
also required.
