• Employment Type: Local ContractWCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Carthage, NY.Job Function: -
  
  • Night Shift.
    
  • 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM.
    
  • Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions.
    
  • Provide education, support, and comfort to patients and their families during emergency room visits.
    
  • Communicate closely with the healthcare team and independently recognize when early intervention is needed.
    
  • Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic procedures.
    
  • Perform IV insertions, intubations, medication administration, blood draws, and other medical procedures.
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a BSN.
      
      
    • Active RN license in the state of New York.
      
      
    • 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
      
      
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association required.
