Also, documenting travel experience.Current AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCCJob Description:Unit: Emergency DepartmentShift: 6:30PM-7:00AMCharge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERREDFloating Required: YesScrub Color: Navy BlueUnit Specifics:Common patient diagnosis: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Resp FailureSpecialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic SunPatients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, GeriatricNumber of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds , 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych*Duties** Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting to the ER, including vital signs and medical history.* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.* Perform emergency procedures such as suturing, airway management, and tube feeding when necessary.* Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition.* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management.* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Job Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $2,700.00 - $2,704.00 per weekMedical Specialty:* Critical & Intensive Care* Emergency MedicinePhysical Setting:* InpatientWork Location: In personby Jobble
